Initiated and funded by The Chicago Community Trust, Chicago Matters is an annual exploration—via television, radio, print and community dialogue—of an issue of broad concern to the Chicago region.
About Growing Forward
Chicago Matters: Growing Forward will focus each month on a different aspect of our region’s resources including air, transportation, water and food.
Grow clean air. Get a few houseplants to keep indoor air clear and clean. Houseplants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. They also help to clear the air of volatile organic chemicals found in household products such as paints, cleansers, disinfectants and dry-cleaned clothing.
