During the Growing Forward series, our Partners will focus on a different aspect of our region’s resources each month. To help add to your knowledge about sustainability in Illinois, the Keep Learning section offers new data, research, and links from Partner programming.

Throughout March, we will be examining issues of sprawl, land use, preservation of open space and housing.

In April, we examine climate exchange programs, air quality, wind power, noise, airports and air traffic.
Transportation
All during May we will explore public transportation systems, roadways, gridlock and regional rail service.

Come back in June when we will be examining the Great Lakes region, conservation, water quality and water rights.
